Default Draining Fuel Tank

Hi. Could use some quick help here. 02' Durango, 4.7. Would like to drain using the fuel pump. Can I jumper the relay? If so which terminals?

TIA,
Dave

Not sure why you want to jumper anything, as all you need to do is turn the key to the on position and the fuel pump will energize and pressurize. Keep in mind this is not necessarily very safe as the fuel pump puts out over 50lb of pressure and could make one heck of a flame thrower if it gets away from you and catches fire.

Thanks for the reply, but that don't work as the electronics will not allow the pump to continually run. We drained it through the vent tube hose.
