Default remote starter

I have hooked up an AUTO COMMAND remote starter and my check engine light comes on in my 2000 durango how do i get it to go out. I have double checked all the wiring .

I had the same problem in my D, what we ended up finding out is that there is a 22guage green and red wire near the ignition lock tumbler that also needs to be powered when the vehicle is started, for some reason the wiring diagram I had never indicated that this wire needed connected. If the wire is not connected the check engine light will come on and will scan with a code p1698 indicating no transmission signal, from what I have been told this can damage the transmission over time since that wire feeds power to the transmission computer.

How would you go about powering the wire and exactly where is it. I have a 2002 dodge ram that has remote start and this code comes up and also the trans is downshifting hard
