Durango is a 2001and the pass side floor board is wet. It has been raining and will rain Sunday. I am thinking if i could put some silicon on the inside or would that be a no no. I am going to put a cover over the winshield/top when i get home hopefully. Thanks

 

I'd be suspicious of either the heater-core or a/c evaporator drain leaking if it's just the passenger's side.

 

A few months ago i put the evap extension part on. It is not always wet. Rained yesterday and i checkedit last night and waswet. Weather shows no rain this week so i will keep checking it. It will leak only when running if it is the heater core?

 

Is it just plain water, or does it smell like antifreeze?

Mine too was water. It's the drain for the AC system.

I couldn't reach up and unplug mine so I just drilled a hole in the floorboard at the lowest point and put a rubber floor mat (with the spike feet) under the carpet so whatever drains goes out my little drain hole. Problem solved. For now..

 

Find the drain hole inside the engine bay and stick a piece of rubber hose in it to clear it out.
