Default Ipod Adapter 2003

I have serched the forum and web and have found very little info. I want to add an ipod adapter to my factory radio, there is no 6 disc changer in mine nor is it nav/ sirius ready. Just a basic cd/cassette player.. I hate the wires being in the way with the cassette adapter and the fm modulators suck. any help would be awesome.

I haven't heard of one, however you 03 has a completely different radio setup than my 99, so there might be one. There are some radio accessories on dodgeparts.com, but I think the best thing to do would be to get an fm transmitter, or replace the radio with an aftermarket one.

Try Ebay, they have quite a few like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-2006-Jeep-Chrysler-Dodge-RDS-Radio-AM-FM-CD-CS-iPod-Aux-In-P05064042AB-RAZ-/150927033917?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ADodge&hash=item2323f3c63d&vxp=mtr

Thats pretty cool they do that, a bit of an upgrade on a refurbish, but that too expensive in my opinion. You can swap out the head and get modern USB and BT too, all for not much more than their BuyItNow price. My JVC head unit was only $100, has all the new bells/whistles, no cutting wires to install, and sounds better than stock.

Just upgrade to a aftermarket. Sounds a lot better.

I personally got a kenwood unit off buy.com

Reason I went with this unit was because of the dot matrix display, dark blue accent lights and USB/3.5MM inputs - great for me because I can use the USB port to charge my iPhone. I also got the sirius package as well.

The unit was $150 at buy.com
