We used Wolfs Head 10-w30 + 1 bottle STP w/zinc since we got it in 2000 or so, but since I've been in school in SC (and can't get Wolf's Head) I've been using Castrol GTX high mileage part synthetic. I actually never had any issues with Fram filters (I've cut them open quite a few times), but I do get the Mopar filters when the store has them.
