Hello, i have a 1999 Durango and i was wondering if i had the capability of checking engine codes via the dash? I know someone who has a 97 jeep cherokee and if he turns the key to the on position and then the off position 2 times and on the third time leave it in the on position it will flash the error codes with the dash lights. I've seen this with a 2001 1500 pickup also. Thanks in advance.......

 

I've tried getting my dakota to do that, supposedly it'll put it in the odometer display. Easiest thing to do, take it to Autozone, they'll check the code for free, then try to sell you a part to fix it if they have something.
