I don't know the right answer to that, but I wouldn't take the chance. A little wasted fluid is better than blown clutches in the diff. Not sure of the outcome either way but if you are that unsure of the fluid you put in and there's absolutely no way to find out, I would drop that fluid out and replace with the right stuff to be on the safe side

FSM just says "If Trac-Loc, a friction modifier should be added." Do what you want, it's your truck. If one Prozac works, 12 should be even better, right?

Now I have to remember what kind of oil I put in it. If I didn't have the additive, would I have a noticeable chatter or anything?

where did you find your build sheet? are you just talking about the window sticker? i'm curious because i have no idea if my R/T has a LSD. thanks

Not the window sticker. Somewhere on this site there is a link and you email your vin to dodge/Chrysler and they will give you a big list of exactly what your rig was built with from the factory. The few that I listed is just a small portion of what's included. I don't know where the link is, I'm sure many of the moderators know

However there is a sticker in your glove box that tells you a few things. Mine was too faded to read, hence why I went with the buildsheet
