I would suspect a timing issue or possibly fuel. Like was mentioned b4, sensors sometimes fail out of the box. The crank sensor you replaced, did you do it yourself? Did you buy a reputable brand, or just what was cheap? Did you examine the cap & rotor when you changed the cam sensor? You said it has gotten progressively worse so check the fuel pressure at the rail for possibly failing fuel pump. Personally my money is on the crankshaft sensor.

No distributor on the 4.7, it's coil on plug.

Having the battery disconnected for that long should have reset the pcm.
