Default parking brake and abs light onHave

Have and 2001 Durango. Tonight was at inlaws about 50 mins away and used the p brake. When leaving those 2 lights stayed on. The brakes were not hot,smelling/glowing etc when i stopped to check and drove and braked fine When home the front brakes were warm/hot but was using them. What should i check for? Is it ok for wife to drive? Can i unhook the batt and if so how do i reset the computer? thanks

You would need to get the codes out of the ABS module and post. No, disconnecting battery will not reset the ABS codes.

I believe it is te master cylinder. One store clerk asked if pass side is wet. He touched it and it was sticky and is brake fluid
