Battery Drain over several days
I am having an issue with something draining my battery over a couple days on my 2003, 5.9L. I found that I had a .8 amp draw with nothing tuned on, so I started pulling fuses until it went away to isolate what circuit it was on.
I found that by pulling fuse #8 from the inside fuse panel, that my draw dropped to .05 amps. The fuse is labeled "Trans Pos Ind". In the service manual I have for a 2002, it says that fuse feeds the Transmission Control Module (on the 4.7L), and also something in the cluster. With the fuse out, I still have all my lights on the cluster, including the gear indicator, and the vehicle runs and drives fine.
Any idea what else I can check, or what else might be using this circuit.
Also does anyone have a PDF FSM for 2003, I doubt there are many if any changes, but you never know.
