bent rear axle
i bought my 03 durango 4.7 about a month ago from a smaller dealer. so far i have dumped about 500$ into for ball joint sensors and hoses and other little things. it had a knock when it when it went into drive so i took it to the shop the dealer goes through and when it was up on the lift they fixed the knock, and told me my rear axle was bent they checked the rim said it was straight. they wanted to charge me 700$ to replace thee axle, but the dealer was willing to go half. its not terribly noticable when i drive. i was just curious if it was possible to just change the shaft on the passenger side for like 130 off rockauto? would this fix my problem or just take it to the shop and shell out another 350$ thanks
