new to to the Durango family
I have a 1998 Dodge Durango 360 it has a hitch on the back heavy duty I don't know much about the vehicle we've had it for almost a year a couple days ago it just would not start turned over but not start changed coil changed coil pick up inside distributor just changed crank sensor now the batteries to drain to start start right now I live in West Virginia right now is 16 to 10 degrees all f.y.i I have posted a couple things on here about this it does have a small transmission leak by the bellhousing need to add trans fluid 1 a week not much just to keep in the checker ran great never miss the transmission never sleeps as of yet don't know about the 4 wheel drive four wheeler indicator light does not come on when in 4 wheel drive it does have a little bit reared fluid dripping and don't forget this is my lovely wife car she is probably not bad for 1500 dollars just lately I have no start but it turns over that check engine light did come on in go off a couple times prior to my situation right now
What I meant to say is the source of the leak is not visible on the outside of transmission. It may be the pump seals if its on the bottom of the bell housing only. The torque converter is bolted to the flex plate to attach it to the motor but only has a shaft that slides into the transmission. The entry point for this shaft is the pump. The pump is what seals the transmission up on the front, not where it mounts to the engine block. This would then only allow it to leak out into the bell housing. Just crawl under and check it out.
