2002 dodge durango motor swap 4.7 out 5.7 hemi in but what about the mounts are they the same ? Its 4wheel drive as well...one of the mount perches is offset

 

From what I remember the mounts are different and requires of course custom fab work. Otherwise installing a hemi is pretty straight forward.

I’d love one in my Durango.. talk about fun.

 

I order to get a hemi in a first gen your going to need to do some fab work on the motor mounts and the firewall to allow clearance for the longer motor. Not impossible because i have seen it done before but, a bit of work to do.

 

So what all would i need to do i just need sum direction here in getting that motor in there can u list all or email the pics of the one you viewed i need all info on this swap also i am only changing the pcm to a hemi one ....

I need to know if the engine wiring harness for a 2002 dodge durango 4.7 have to be changed to put in a 5.7 hemi ? Heard its the same just want to make sure ... I know i will have to put in a 5.7 hemi pcm in place of the 4.7 pcm .... Also i need some motor mounts fabricated to weld right in and bolt my motor down .....anybody selling these plz inbox me thanks ..

 

Did that searching the web ! I need to call somewhere they dnt need my truck to do the fab once i get the mounts i am welding them in so any sugestions good ones guys ..
