I think the 03 switched to the single PCM and had the 5 speed programming. But I could be wrong.

If you did in fact have the seperate PCM and TCM then all you do is get a compatible TCM from a 2002 Jeep grand cherokee with the 4.7L and just directly swap it to where the Durango PCM is.

It kinda sucks if you live in a hilly area but if it's primarily flat then it can definitely be a nice addition.
Hills don't make a difference. Of course going up any sort of hill greater than 1500rpm can handle at 65mph the truck will shift accordingly.

And 5th kicks in at 55 mph.

My TCM is from a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Interesting. Yeah guess my memory is a little blurry on the subject. I haven't had my Durango for a few months and after a while I quit paying attention to the shift points.

I was under the impression that in 2004 the Jeeps switched to the single unit as well.

I think I'd switch it a bit and do the grille in blue and the inserts black.

Would it be alright to just go with chrome? I am planning on doing black/blue color for the Durango but if it look ok with some chrome I want to know which will be ok with chrome without having it tacky. By the way I do like the way the intense blue look but don't know if I want to change the paint code.

Here are the list of stuffs I got down for now to get.
Clear headlights
Clear corner lights
Ram head tail light covers
Heated folding mirrors
Fog lights
Hood scoops (Lund) (paint it black or patriot blue)
Black street scene grille inserts
Grille (paint it in patriot blue)
Bumpers (paint it in patriot blue)
Black brush guard
If I want to get rid the running boards then I will go with black step bars.
Want to get some black rims too.

Later on in the future I want to upgrade the transmission, gears, switch from 4WD to AWD.

It's hard to guess without pictures, but if you're leaving parts of it black I'd think too much chrome would stick out.

I ain't doing chrome now because I don't like the look of it. So I am going with black and patriot blue.
