My '03 Dodge Durango SXT 4.7L
#223
Cowl hood is off the list now since I talked to my friend about the paint at the auto body shop said at 275 for paint and plus the whatever the labor. My dad told me that it is stupid to spend the money on that hood for that price when the vehicle is 11 years old. I am backing out of it and just use the money that I was going to use for the hood on Ram head tail light covers, headlights, and corner lights.

I'd let your vehicle sit inside a warm place and make sure you clean the spot that the deflectors will attach to. If you do it in the cold, it probably won't stick well. (Assuming it uses the 3M tape, obviously, if it hooks up with screws than disregard this entire post)

Thanks for the concern. I have it over to my friend's garage already tonight to let it sit overnight in the heated garage after I washed it. The temperature in the garage is 77 so that could be warm enough. My friend and I going to put it on in the morning or before I have to go to work. After it is done I am going to let it sit until Wednesday so the 3M tape can have time to stick better. I looked at the shield and look like 2 little shield have 3M tape and big piece be bolted on with screw.

I want mine to be different than lot of Durangos here in town. 2 Durango I see here have the same color and stuffs I have. I like the looks of bug shield on the vehicles but that just me.

Got my AVS bug shield installed today and I like the look of it Wish that the car wash last night did a better job of washing. It one thing I hate about the winter is that they put way too much salt on the road. Now taking it back to my friend's garage to park until Monday. I am going out of town until Sunday night for work. Was so excited today that my fog lights came in early but was mad when I opened the box and see that one of the fog lights is cracked Had this happened to anyone on here order stuffs from RockAuto and lights crack during delivery?
