My '03 Dodge Durango SXT 4.7L
I pretty sure I don't have it because there isn't no button on the lever by the steering wheel for the towing. I do have trailer hitch under the Durango but the hitch is rusted right in the sleeve so it won't come out.
Anywho, before the kids start crying their eyes out over stupid **** again..
if you care to tint your windows he’s what it looks like inside and out. And if you decide to do a custom retrofit for your headlights (MUCH better output over stock) then here’s some idea of how it looks and performs.
Is your Durango AWD or 4x4? If it’s 4x4 and you want AWD you can simply swap out the transfercase for a NV242 (AWD) and there you go.
Tint is 5% over rears and 15% on front driver/pass. last pic shows looking outside in daytime.

That_Guy and I have the clear headlights with the FX-R projectors. Hard retro to perform. But well worth the output.

..why don’t you go troll the playground or something if you’re not going to provide actual feedback.
If I remember correctly your glove box sticker will show what options you have. However the SXT is the base model durango for 02/03 years. If you email dodge via their website you can actually request a build sheet for your durango (free). I got mine last year. Lots of good info.
I am pretty sure mine have 4WD because it don't said anything about AWD on the switch. All it said is 2WD or 4LOCK. Already just researching this morning I wrote down the list of ideas for the Durango.
You have the sport mirrors or base model mirrors. Not exactly sure what they fall under. The HD mirrors only came on Durangos with the Heavy Duty tow package (I think it's the only tow package). My Durango is fully loaded so naturally I have them. You have the base model so naturally you don't. That_guy had the same mirror style you have and he upgraded last year I think to the tow package style. Super easy to do. Should only take 15 minutes per door.
sport mirrors (standard 98-03)

"dumbo" tow mirrors (optional 98-00)

tow mirrors (optional 01-03)

Now keep in mind that the connector for the mirrors is different from 98-00 and 01-03 trucks, but the wiring is still the same. This means that if you want the 01-03 mirrors on a 98-00 truck, they will bolt up and you can switch the connector over (that's what I did). There's a thread somewhere on here about it, so I'll have to see if I can dig it up.
Well you have a 99. I don’t think the “dumbo” mirrors were a tow only mirror. I don’t see any evidence supporting that they were only avail as part of the tow package. However I have seen evidence of the tow mirrors (like on mine, 01) are only avail with the tow package.
Those dumbo mirrors were also standard equipment on the Rams as well, FYI
