^he can somewhat validate my mileage (to an extent) if we can find the thread oh HIDp

After my jeep mod I average around 21 mpg highway. Highest was 22.3 or 22.4.

In the city I'm about 12.5

Much better than my Titan ever got. **** 10 city and 17 highway in that thing. But damn great truck with a ton of power. Sad I got rid of it.

That's sounds about what you said before. I'd guess that the lower overdrive gear in combination with the taller tires gives you an advantage when cruising on the highway there. That said I'm very pleased with my highway mileage being that the 5.2 isn't exactly known for economy.

Huh. Do you both have the 4.7? I just have the ancient 5.2. Best I am capable of is 17, on the highway at 60, without a clutch fan.

Nope, I've got the 5.2L and 3.55 gears. I've removed my mechanical fan in favor of an electric on also.

Mine is 4.7 at 70, 178k miles. Half with fan clutch, other half of life ran without fan clutch just using the factory e-fan

Now of course this is just normal roads. Once I hit the mountains I drop to about 17 or 18.

I guess if I had a purely flat road to test a full tank it woulnt do too bad. I am running a 31x10.5 tire that I feel matches my gearing well.

The mountains don't actually seem to change my gas mileage all that much surprisingly. There are a ton of mountains between sc and pa, but I've still gotten over 19 mpg before and usually get between 17 and 18.5 on the trip.
