Default 2003 durango slt 4.9no reverse lites

Help no reverse lites and need them for safety. Bulbs are good , where and what can it be thanks

Have you checked the fuse to see if it is blown? Have you checked the socket itself?

Yes I did , fuse are good and bulb s no power going to the lites

Did you check the sockets themselves. Sometimes they lose contact.

Check where the bulb goes into the holder, where the holder goes makes contact with the tail light, and where the wiring connects to the tail light.

Although if they both quit at the same time I'd look at the neutral safety switch.

Also, do you have the 4.7 or 5.9, there's no 4.9.

I am sorry 4.7. I did hook up 12 volts to the reverse lites and they did come on. Where is the neutral safety switch? Is it hard to change thanks

I'm not completely sure where the neutral safety switch on the 45rfe transmission. On the 44re and 46re it's on the side of the transmission.
