They should just plug in and work. That said pnp hids really are not a good idea as they will give a crappy beam pattern and blind other drivers, especially when they go with 55w or some ridiculous *** distracting color. If you really must get them though stick with 35w and 4300-5000k.

Don't bother with that random ebay or amazon junk.

I recommend morimoto stuff from the retrofit source because they have good quality stuff, superb customer service, and are an American company.

If you want a cheap good quality kit vvme is pretty good, but there customer service is a pain to deal with.

Whatever you get just remember, 4300-5000k color temp and 35w.

I always got my kits from ddm.

Hids in the durango arent bad. I ran them for years and like the output. Same beam pattern as the halogens.

I ran 6000k at 55w for a nice white with a settle hint of blue.

If I didnt have my retrofit I wouldnt mind hids in the factorybhousing. But I love how my headlights look with the projetors installed

ddm does seem alright too from what I've heard, but I don't have any experience with them myself. The stock fluted lenses don't seem to bad with hids from what I've seen really, it just depends on the quality of the bulbs used and how clear the lenses are.

Yeah. I've never had issues with DDM. TRS on the other hand.. More issues than I can count on a single hand.

Yeah, you definitely didn't seem to have good luck with their parts. Most people, myself included, seem to be very pleased with them though.
