Depends on a lot of things. As long as it's reading within the area marked with the white on the gauge you should be fine.

when i started driving the oil pressure was something to tell if the engine is good. my dad taught me that if from idle if you raise the R.P.M. just a little and the oil pressure goes up right with it, the engines bottom end is good.

as far as oil goes i like thick oil. but not so thick it will not start in the winter. i run Valvoline diesel premium blue 15w-40. this winter it was down to 5 degrees F. over nite and it did start. but was closer to not starting than i like. the synthetic would be better if you are more north than wichita, kansas.

I'd recommend sticking with the recommended 10w30. Maybe 10w40 if you live in a hotter climate. I always run castrol gtx high milage part synthetic 10w30 with a bottle of stp oil treatment (makes the viscosity closer to 10w40) and the oil pressure usually sits between the middle and upper marks or the normal zone on the gauge.

Seeing as you just had your oil changed make sure the level is right, and that the correct 10w30 oil was used.
