Your durango looks to be a Chili Pepper Red paint color. Non-HD package

(You have the small goofy mirrors, found on non-HD trim levels)

Mine has the Heavy Duty package and these are what the mirrors look like. I highly recommend swapping yours out - they look a ton better!

I agree I like your mirrors much better. Do you happen to know the difference in the HD package. Mine has 5 leafs in the rear and a much bigger brake booster than my Dakota and it has a sway bar on the rear axle.

I forget the exact details, but better/stiffer suspension, built in brake controller wire, 7pin, extra coolers and radiator. HD fan clutch. Tow mirrors. Or something to that extent.

I'll probably switch the mirrors later on I have a set of clip on towing mirrors for long trailers that I can use. Main thing now is getting it back on the road and installing a receiver hitch radiator all the coolers and trailer plug. Then will come a brake controller and permanent Mount towing mirrors. Don't plan on pulling anything huge with it. Heaviest thing would be trailer with firewood until the Dakota gets fixed up since I don't feel like filling the inside with wood lol that might be hard on stuff.

Well I've located another parts truck for 1200. The local salvage yards are asking that much just for a front clip. The parts truck I found has the parts I need to fix both vehicles so I think I might go that route. Its a Dodge Dakota with a bad transmission and a wrinkled bedside. I figured Might as well kill two birds with 1 stone and get the parts for both trucks instead of going through the salvage yard. I still have some time to think about it but that is where I'm at for the time being.
