All the explorer is is a tall taurus/fusion, not really an suv. Why not get something like a Grand Cherokee, it's way nicer than the explorer, still works as an suv, and isn't fwd.

And that beats a HEMI, I think.....NOT!

Obviously you like Ford better, why not move to a Ford forum then.

Agreed, or at a minimum, not mention the F word here in a positive light.

What an ignorant thread, I was looking forward to him breaking down on the side of the road with nothing and no cell coverage. Now I'm having to be subjected to whining about Fords beating Dodge in a Dodge Forum.

Shoot me now!

+2 Hydra. Now I'm gonna be a hypocrite cause I can't stop myself .

I recently rear ended a brand new explorer with my 2000 pointiac grand prix. My grand prix only screwed up the headlights and bumper. But it punched through the rear of that exploder to the gas tank and dented it. I was sliding doing about 5-8mph on ice. All I could think was "oh f***" followed by the thought "wow that thing is a POS" when we did damage check. . My pos grand prix stood up better than a brand new exploder. Well my first vehicle was 1992 explorer. Won't own another ford after that and issues my friends have had. Sticking to GM and Dodge. I know public has expressed he doesn't care cause of warrantee. Warrantee doesn't help when you are stuck on the side of the rode when its -15 or 100 degrees out lol. That's why I care.

Yeah, I'm really getting the idea that new fords aren't put together very well. My brother's mustang got rear ended by a town & country a month ago. The mustang got the whole back corner pretty much torn off while the van just got a busted headlight and the front corner crunched in some.
