If you had continuously had bad experiences with a particular brand of phone would you not bash it to some degree? I have had bad experiences with fords, I have a very low opinion of them. Now I have also had fantastic experiences with Chevy/Gm trucks but you don't see me bringing that up (til now ) because I don't feel it necessary. If I want to post that kind of stuff I'll go to a Gm forum. It is generally more acceptable to go to a forum and talk about how much better their brand (dodge here) is over the competition (ford/gm). Now a friendly discussion doesn't bother me or anyone else, its how you went about running down our beloved trucks to "prove" a point which quite frankly is very hard to prove either way because of the multitude of factors involved.

This is why the "freak out". It is subjective, but stated as fact, in a place where the opposite subjective is taken as fact. Nuff said.

The actual pathetic thing is you still think this discussion is about cars/SUVs.

You are in a pro-A place advocating B. Expect crap.

Well, my own view. A new vehicle with much more to offer than a 13yr old vehicle with 180k miles..

If I as a owner want to trade up one of my vehicles for another brand.. eh. The new Explorer fits my needs more than my Durango. So I'm going to get what is practical and fits my needs than hold onto a vehicle to please a few folk who think a brand name is a stronger bond than the vehicle itself.

That's all fine. I don't think anyone here is really questioning your personal decision making process or outcome. But, if you wish to continue to be a forum guy about your ride and are no longer pro-Dodge, it would be appropriate to leave here and go there. The Ford forum guys probably wouldn't like someone there talking Dodge much either.

I've been on the Ford forum from the day I got my fusion and the ram or Durango doesn't bother them.

The ford bronco forum folk got butt hurt when I got my titan. Then for years later my Durango. Still had the Bronco putting more miles on it than the newer vehicles.

Maybe it's a jealousy thing?

Still love my Durango but reality is.. I simply don't need two suv sitting in my driveway. Let someone whoso enjoy my Durango should I go that route and dump it.

The thought is there. The cash isn't transferred yet. So what's the big deal?

You obviously don't understand what he even said, might want to re-read.

I googled "Perfect car" and no results were returned.

PH - Enjoy your trip!

Godspeed with whatever vehicle you take out there.

Thank you thank you.

Girl just got her a new Toyota corolla S or something like that. Trying to get her to take that. Want to see how well it does on the highway.

She almost walked away in a Dodge Dart but lowest apr she got was 7.5%. Went to Toyota dealer and got a nicely equipped corolla for 1.9%. Shame. That dart sport or whatever it was looked sporty.
