Default Tuner for 99 5.2 Durango?

Anybody know of one. I'm thinking about doing a 5.9 swap and was told a STC tuner with the right tune would fix the issue of needing a 5.9 pcm. I can't seem to find any for a 99 with a 5.2. I can find them for 5.9 with ease so is there something different with pcm's? or is the 99 5.2 durangos just not tunable? I'm also being told that any cam bigger then a stock r/t cam would a PITA to get tuned on my truck. any info on this would be great thanks.

The 5.2s are tunable, I have the 5.2 and currently have a superchips but it wasn't worth the $300 I paid and wish I would have gotten an SCT tune. I haven't heard of any tuning problems until you get into high boost but there shouldn't be a problem tuning for cams, heads, etc. Hopefully soon I can rebuild mine with a mild cam, ported heads, M1 intake, ported TB, and some other goodies and get custom tuning from www.hemifevertuning.com. Check out the website, may answer some of your questions.

yeah I have the Hughes FI AirGap intake and Borla exhaust with high flow cat already that I will be installing on the 5.9 long block. I want to bore it like .030 over, flat top pistons, mild cam shorty headers and maybe EQ heads. are you running a chip or a full tuner? I'm pretty new to the hole tuning of pcm's been reading lots of different things about the tuners. been told that most tuners besides the SCT don't really work and that the pcm's start learning the tunes and tries to correct for it as to were the SCT has updates to fix this issue. but I could be wrong

The Superchips is a flash tuner, I wouldn't call it a full tuner though.
