True-Trac or Dura Grip?
I have a lock right in my D right now and it's been junk from day one. I have slightly out of spec clearances and even new thrust washers didn't help at all, I have *******ly no wear on my case so it must be that my case was machined slightly more than the others and Richmond gear told me that they didn't have any selective thickness washers to bring the clearance back into spec. And I've broken several pins from the clearance and now it's slipping under wheel slip. Anyway I'll be hopefully 300rwhp and 340rwtq when I get enough money to do the engine and trans and I will be swapping out the lock right for either a Yukon Dura Grip or an Eaton True Trac and 4.11 Yukon or Motive gears. I know that the Eaton will handle the power no problem because it's gear to gear but how will the Yukon hold up? Is anybody running the dura grip?
