I put a glasspack on my 2001 durango 4.7 and I loved it! I never had any noise complaints, and never got pulled over for it. You people are just too damn worried.
I like the sound of the glass packs and when compared to what the cat backs costs. seems like a winner. Im still not sure though. time will tell thanks again guys.
You do not have to go full "Cat-Back" for your upgrade.
I bought my Super 40 Flowmaster from Amazon and a local muffler shop welded in the muffler and the "difference pipe" in for $30.
As for the Catback system, the muffler for my D it came with was the Super 70, so I got a more aggressive sound for a lot less. Not sure I am missing any "claimed" HP improvements.
for 30 bucks that is sweet. I will check into the shops around here to see what they charge. I can get the muffler at work with my discount for not much as well. thanks
