Ok guys. I have a 01 Durango with the 5.9 motor in her with 207,000 miles. Recently I had noticed that there was a misfire and the check engine light illuminated with the code of 0203 I believe it was. I know it states that is a cylinder #3 misfire so I disconnected the fuel injector wires from that cylinder and the problem persisted. The funny thing is the rough idle issue is usually there when you go to accelerate. When youre cruising along, barely touching the accelerator, it runs fine. As soon as i go to give it gas thats when the mis-fire is noticible. Could it be that I got bad gas, or is there an issue with cylinder #3?
