I just picked up a 1998 durango slt 4x4 with the 318 v8 in it. I just noticed that when the engine is cold my oil pressure is around 100. And when the motor warms up at idle it starts to drop to around 40. But then as soon as i hit the gas or start moving again its right back to 100. Is this ok or is something up? The motor starts and runs great.

Same here, as the oil warms up it will get a bit thinner and flow easier, the thicker cold oil will flow slower and build more pressure as it is pumped.
