Default Help 5.9 rt trans problem

First timer here. Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I am in desperate need of help. The other day I was driving and everything was fine until I'm pressing the gas and it just seemed like I was in nuetral. Never had this problem before. It only seems to happen once the transmission gets warm. I'll just be driving and loose all power from the trans. I have to put it into neutral shut it off start it back up and put it in drive sometimes it will connect sometimes it will not. Sometimes I get nothing at all. Trans fluid is fine color and wise and it reads full once warmed up and put in neutral. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would start with changing the trans fluid/fluid and adjust the bands. At this time I would do a thorough visual inspection of old fluid and whatever you can see with the pan off. Then I would PM MasterTech, he is the trans guru.

What would be your grand plan for the trans? Are you wrench handy enough to do trans work yourself? Those things don't last forever and in my opinion anything short of a full rebuild is just band-aids. I believe your symptoms are likely just the tip of the iceberg.

A lot of guys ramble through a a long thread of Q & A then end up just taking it somewhere anyway. I fix pretty much everything on my family vehicle fleet, have for over 50 years, but I let a reputable shop rebuild my R/T trans.
