Smile Shocks First Gen Durango Question

Hi there,
Anyone send me in a right direction for a good pair of shocks.
2002 Dodge Durango 4x4 4.7.
I bought a pair 2 weeks ago, they are:
Gabriel 77905 MAX CONTROL Monotube Shock Absorber.
I was told they will work, I installed them and they are compressed almost fully. I was wondering if they didn't work cause the truck has option 1 on it, which is the bigger size tires.
P265/70 R16.
Would this make that kinda of change, so the shocks I bought were for the stock tires?
Thanks, I attached a picture of the shocks I have on there now and tires bounce every bump. almost loose control on corners. I pushed down on from and no movement. The look fully compressed.
Thank you for any help
Six..

That # is the proper premium Gabriel shock for your Durango according to Gabriel's catalog. Look at your torsion bars if the truck is bottoming out.

I did the torsion bar crank on my Rango and it was interesting at first but went easier towards the end. I installed the Rancho 5000 shocks on mine. Rides nice
