P0340 No Cam Signal At PCM

Drivers side should be bank 1.

You MUST disconnect the negative battery cable and isolate it before removing these type parts or risk a surge damaging the sensor. I have seen far too many people not disconnect the battery and the new sensors fry.

Cam sensors (2) I believe is on the head, front, outside, and monitors the sprocket on each head on the 4.7L.

Crank shaft sensor is on the passenger side, lower left engine block on the 4.7L.

Did you use Mopar Parts for the sensors? If you didn't, buy Mopar sensors.

I will try disconnecting the battery this time and give it a try. And last time I never changed the sensor on the driver side I will look for that one thanks.

I did not use Mopar parts. Went to AutoZone (Duralast) brand! Didn't really think it would make a difference but I guess it does.

I used one of those on my 03 4.7 and it lasted all of 3 months. Went to the stealership and got the part and haven't had an issue since.
