Default Strange front wheel issue

Well, first off, my truck is already fixed, but I decided to post this in case someone else might benefit from my experience...

The problem was that I had a strange slop or looseness in my front left wheel, I noticed it when stopping the most, but in slow tight turns it would do it too, it felt like a back/forward slop. We suspected possibly A-arm bushings, but I decided to take it to a shop as neither me or Dad had the time or energy to tackle this. I took it to a local shop that said they'd look at it for free, and they discovered that the issue was the alignment adjustment on the upper control arm was completely loose and sliding, so they did an alignment and its fixed. I've never seen or heard of this before honestly.

Yep, I had the same problem with my old 1998 4X4 Durango.
