soo yesterday i drove my durango on really wet grass, and i decided to give 4 low a try, when i turned in on and tried to make full lock turn i head grinding noise and rev would drop really low, truck would jerk, and it felt like it was gonna stall.

 

Probably had axle bind. Try it out in mud or loose gravel/dirt. I know the grass was wet but it was most likely still hanging up.
