Recently I swapped overhead consoles from a 01 to my 03. Everything works except for a few of the readout features such as temp. I have searched and can't find any info relating to this except the swaps for older models and adding a unit to a unit without. I just wanted the nifty compartment to hold my sunglasses.

I thought all the 03s already had the console. If I remember right the 03s have the fancier console with some extra readouts in it compared to the old ones.

I went from

and swapped to this

The readouts are the same except that the temperature isn't showing up on the one I put in.

Either the new computer isn't working properly or it's incompatible with the wiring from the newer one. I'd suspect the latter here since I think there were electrical changes in late 02. You'll probably need one of these type of consoles that have the same computer:

if you want temperature working you need to have a temperature sensor installed, it should be located in the front grill if you had the overhead console from the factory, if not you will need to add that if you want it to work.

what other displays arent working?

You have to use the one from an 02 model like that_guy pictured for it to work. That is the same one that I swapped in mine also an 03 just to have the sunglass holder lol.

I have the temp sensor. After using it and seeing how it does, temperature is the only readout that doesn't work. I was hoping there might be a "hack" someone has done or knows of to get it to work. Back to the drawing board I guess. / I got it for $8 at a pull part so I may have to keep searching cause I'm not paying the inflated ebay prices for another.

Yeah, I got mine from the local yard here for 5 bucks complete with bracket because the readout was all busted. I swapped my electronics in the new console and put it in place. Looks brand new.
