2003 Durango R/T won't stay running
my battery was dead so I charged it but now when I start my 03 Durango R/T it dies unless I stay on the gas

Classic symptom of a weak battery or bad battery connections. Seeing that you said your battery went dead, it's probably the culprit.

i would look at the IAC motor first, take it out, clean it and put it back in, if that doesnt work you can replace it (they are not expensive).

+1. Everytime I lose my battery, I get the idle issue. Reset the PCM and all is well.
