Default Not Vaccuum leak???

First of all I have a 99 Rango, slt plus, 5.9l
I have scoured this forum looking at all related posts and applied the fixes.
To my desperation problem not solved. It is like all the vaccuum leak troubles except my vents are not stuck on defrost but instead front facing dash vents. Modes do not change no defrost no floor vents. I have replaced vac line that feeds through firewall and all check valves. Any ideas??? Stuck door?? I am mechanically inclined but would like advice on how to locate and check for a stuck door. Any tuts on youtube or possible one of you have pics??

Thanks in advance Jason.

It could be the vacuum switch itself or possibly a stuck mode door. There are links to PDFs of the factory service manuals at the bottom of the DIY section of the main 1st Gen Durango page that you can check out. They have all the diagrams of the vacuum circuits as well as troubleshooting information.

Thank for the info. I will check out the service manual and report back.
