Default Driveshaft /Rear Differential

What happens when these go bad? I have a clunking/off balance type noise. Thought it was front end, but now I am thinking more driveshaft. I have replaced both CVs in the front. Is it going to break while I am driving? Suggestions, stories and theories please.

yes it could break while driving.

It's not a mystery part, just crawl under and check the u-joints.

Go check your u joints.

And yes, it could brake while driving.

Check the rear of the front driveshaft by the transfer case. It is a CV like joint and not a true u-joint.

U-joints are fine, all of them. CV joint was not in the whole way, we fixed that, but there is still a noise in the driver wheel. At a loss on this.
