Wow....first, how are you checking the mileage? If its from some overhead MPG indicator, throw that out the window and hand calculate to get true mileage. Second, those tires are killing your mileage no matter what so thats something you can change to show an immediate improvement. Along with a full tune up, fluid change, check the brakes to make sure they are not dragging, and a light right foot. Fix the plenum, make sure the cat is not clogged and the O2 sensors are good.

Moved to the correct section. Welcome to the forum.

Unless your doing a bunch of off road I would sell the tires and get some stock size ones, it will be easier on your front suspension to. Our Durangos are terrible for mpg but 5.4 sounds like there's a hole in the tank. If your using the on board computer to tell mpg those tires are almost certainly messin with the calculations and speedo.

Yeah, I was going to add also, if you are using an onboard MPG indicator, it's probably way off due to the tire size.

Yeah I go off road a lot it's not my everyday I also have a Dakota club cab v6 and yes I was going by the computer on the headliner didn't know how accurate those were.. Would full synthetic oil and Trans fluid make better mpgs and maybe a cold air intake

Not much difference at all.

I use Lucas fuel injector cleaner about once every 6 months. I have no idea if it does anything or not. Thats about the only "snake oil" engine or fuel treatment I use. I've heard seafoam does a good job at cleaning things up. Never used it personally.

I've watched some videos on you tube where people use the brake booster vacuum hose to suck seafoam into the intake. Supposedly cleans out carbon build up. But, it produces tons of smoke. Plus I dont like the idea of intentionally sucking a liquid into the cylinders....
