hey guys im looking to port and polish my 2003 durango 4.7l throttle body but im wondering what other years and models of throttle bodies will work so i can find a spare and port and polish it before i take my throttle body off and just incase i mess it up lol. what other makes, models, and years of throttle bodies will work on my truck? i have the mechanical throttle cable and not electronic.

 

The 3.7 V6 is the only motor similar to the 4.7 hemi from what I recall. You can find em in jeep liberties.

 

Not 100% sure on this, but I think the 4.7 throttle bodies in Durangos and Dakotas of the same generation are the same (maybe different sensors bolted to them).

 

yea the 4.7l motor in dakotas and durangos from 2001-2003 are the same for sure but im wondering if any of the throttle bodies from the rams or jeep grand cherokees are the same as the dakotas and durangos?
