Default 02 RT rack & pinion , I goofed !

Got in a hurry , removed the rack and didn't realize until I was finished that I forgot to tie down the steering wheel so it wouldn't move . The new rack is on order . What kind of problem is it gonna be when I put it back together ?

Steering wheel will be off center.

Put it back to center before installing the new rack.

Thanks jkeaton ,that's the plan , I wasn't sure if the clock spring might get damaged if I don't get it right the first time and have to r&r a few times.

If the wheel spun around it could damage the clock spring. As long as it hasn't gone around the whole way and you put it back where it should be everything should be good though
