Necro-bump. Still having this issue.
TPS, IAC, MAP all replaced. TB cleaned. Sparkies checked. Battery replaced (it needed it). It sat all winter and most of the spring. Took it out for a drive after replacing the battery and it seemed better, but it still bogs down every now and then when stopping. I have two transmission experts pulling their hair out of it.

Possible PCM issue. I have this issue where it wants to bog down and then shuts off if it bogs down low enough. Reprogrammed it and issue went away. A Weak battery originally caused my PCM to go haywire. Luckily I had my sct tuner in the truck to reprogram it.

Thanks for all the help, guys.

After much deliberation with a variety of people, I went ahead and replaced the Torque Converter - the first thing I suspected when the problem began.

Issue is now GONE!

So for all those who went through the normal repair procedures and the problem still persisted, consider the Torque Converter next.

Peace!
