Any way to find out original tire size on a '98 Durango from the vin, without going through the dealer? It's my daughter's truck, and her equipment label only shows trans type and color, this seems weird since my '99 Ram 2500 lists just about everything(not tire size of course). Her door sticker said 237/75/15 it now has 31/10.50's and we want to be sure the sticker is correct so we can get the speedo calibrated if needed. Thanks for any help..........Randy

My 99 Durango has the same door sticker as yours but came from the factory with 31/10.50s (SLT Plus). A dealer can look it up the VIN number and reporgram the PCM for those tires. If you have the original window sticker, it shuld be listed there as well.

 

My '98 'Rango had 235/75 15's on it from the dealer but I'm running 31/1050 15's now.

This may sound stupid, but what exactly does the 31X10.50 mean? R15 is the wheel (rim) size, correct?

 

The tire is 31" tall and 10.50" wide R indicates it is a radial tire and 15 is the wheel diameter.
