Default Skid Plates

Hey everyone. I have a 2003 dodge durango 4.7 slt+ and am looking for a transfer case skid plate. I know chrysler made them a few years ago but I can't seem to find them anywhere. So any insight on where I could find one that would be great! Thanks

junkyard is your best bet, i would look for a dakota with the same body style, the skid plates were much more common over there and should fit fine

Do you have any fabrication skills or equipment? Cause I have a transfer case skid plate for the Ram that I took off of a parts Ram but never installed it just looks flimsy granted anything is better then nothing. This could be a good time to make something that is practically hidden from sight? My two cents lol

Prefect Attitude! Crawl under there and think of something up. Make sure you can unbolt this though. If I get a chance this week Ill take pictures of the skid plate in the garage. I'm assuming its not to much different in hardiness of that comes on the durangos.

I actually wanna make something that can protect the transmission and transfer case on the ram...

HAHA you know it! Ive been crawling under my brothers durango for a bit dropping the trans definitely made me appreciate the room under the rams... but at the same time the drive train seems like it doesnt hang super low on both models makeing a "full" skid plate seem easy enough to do.

Ive also never understood why just the transfer case gets a plate and not that super duper magic juiced gogo box didnt.
