Well from reading about the dodge durango the motors blow easy.. So my oil pressure was at 0 and I was driving it and everything shut off and a little smoke came out.. The oil pressure would go up then drop to 0..we replaced the sensor happened again was told by auto zone it's something electronic for the sensor to keep blowing like that.. Truck had oil no sludge in pan..
Stay away from wherever you read that, because they're full of ****. What you want to do is put a mechanical oil pressure gauge on so you can see what the pressure really is.
