Default Replacing the Leaf Springs

I am going to be replacing the leaf springs on my 2000 Durango. Is there any reason I may not use the old shackles, bolts, u-bolts, etc and just change the leaf springs themselves? I also plan on changing the struts out since I'm changing out the leafs anyways.

Thank you in advance.

Depending on their condition and if you are able to get the nuts off the u-bolts without breaking the u-bolts or compromising the threads. If it were me, I'd replace all the hardware just for piece of mind since I had it all apart anyway. Shackles are probably ok, again, depending on condition. (rust, corrocion, etc)

U-bolts may be fine used a again, mixed reviews on that, but I personally never re-use them. The metal part of the shackles will be fine, but I'd replace all 6 bushings. If the 6 bolts won't easily come out, and they rarely do, I use a cutoff wheel on the bolts to get the old springs out and use 6 new grade 8 bolts.
