Hi,

I did some test un the durango tonight, for the coil I did not test it because it should be fine due to the motor that keeps running with the intake cleaner.

Now for the ASD relay, I measured the voltage and reaction on each pin.

Pin 1 ( 85 ) : 12V ign and stays to 12 V when engine is running, stays to 12 V after motor stalling.

Pin 2 ( 86 ): 12 V ign when motor not running, when running no more voltage

Pin 3 ( 30 ) : 12 V constant always there

Pin 4 ( 87 A ) : 12 v constant, no voltage when motor running but comes back when motor stops.

Pin 5 ( 87 ) : 12 V ign, stays on couple of seconds then no voltage when motor off.

I've tried to put 12 V constant to the injector, on the junction in the PDC ( wire color DKGRN/ORG and the same thing happened.

I really don't know what to look at now

Thank you !

First off if this is a "race" truck i would assume it's not stock. ??? Maybe some info on what mods where done to the motor if any. Really need this info before anything. The asd relay gives positive 12v to the coil, injectors and 02's. It is controlled buy the pcm. The fuel pump relay also works in tandem with the asd if memory serves me. If the asd is off so is the fuel pump. The fuel pump relay will only stay on for a second to charge the system then go off until the motor starts.

Hi,

Ok so ill give more info. First i got an external fuel tank inside the truck, with external fuel pump with 12V to ign.
Kegger mod
Headers
New spark plug+cables
New cap rotor
New coil

And for now this is it until the durango is working fine.

Fuel pressure is set at 55psi at the fuel regulator ( after strainer and fuel pump )
I will plug obd2 reader tomorrow, but I think asd relay is fine?

Thanks

I would have hooked up power from the relay not the switch but as long as it's working it's ok. Do you have a port on the fuel rail? If so i would check pressure there.

Ignition going off after 2-3 seconds? What would cause this and if I spray intake cleaner in the intake the truck keeps running?
If it is running off spray it's not the asd relay. Do you have any codes? If so it may give some insight in what's going on with it.

Hi guys,

First thank's for the time.

So I plugged in the obdII reader, unfortunately it's not working. plug must be ****ed...

While that time I plugged back the CTM ASSY HIGH black box in, the rango starded to honk and go crazy, but started!!! Got it running fine, turned the key off and tried to start it again... Now there is nothing firing up. Starter is turning but no start...

when the key is on and i'm opening the door, the rango is honking non-stop... looks like a safety device. Anyone know how to bypass it or get rid of this sh*T.

Thank you!

you just did exactly what i was thinking to suggest the CTM controls security system in the truck, which the PCM was not getting the ok from to stay running (it sounds like). Now the CTM thinks the truck has been broken into and is telling the PCM not to fire the engine bc its not an authorized use of the vehicle.

The alarm is usually turned off when you unlock the car with the key fob (remote), i would start by trying that if you have the remotes. if not give this a try to reset the alarm https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...going-off.html
