Default 45RFE upgrade to 545RFE for 01 Durango

I've read a number of threads on this and have a question on upgrading or updating the TCM. Can I do an update my TCM to add the 5th gear or do I need to get a different TCM with the updated software info... from a Grand Cherokee for example? I have an additional TCM I purchased from a parted out 01 rango that I could update and install...What's the easiest way to upgrade it? I just installed a master kit in my 45RFE so it's like new again. I don't want to mess it up! 😁

To upgrade my Durango's 45RFE into a 545RFE, I installed a 56044574AC TCM out of a 2003-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee into my Durango. After performing the recommended quick-learn procedure, my Durango's transmission operates flawlessly.
