Are Durango & Dakota Suspension Same?
Thinking to put some air bags in front and rear of my durango.
But cant find any for the front. All I seem to run into are for the Dodge Dakota. Most of these air kits come with everything you need to install but just want to make sure first.
So is there any possibility to do this to my Durango?
I would appreciate any input.

Which ones would be good to install? Most of the brandname ones dont have any for my truck...but have found some which I never heard of..
Just want to get a smother ride, not much of a off-road adventurer, mostly traveling...

RE: Are Durango & Dakota Suspension Same?
The first gen Durango is on a widened Dakota chassis. http://www.allpar.com/model/durango.html
The shocks for the 97-04 4wd Dakota are the same part numbers as for the 98-03 4wd Durango.
You could get 9-way adjustable shocks if all you want is a smoother ride (like the Rancho RS9000X Shock Absorber Series). The adjustable shocks would allow for you to adjust the ride stiffness and there are in-cab remote adjust controllers available for the Rancho RS9000X series. http://www.gorancho.com/products

they are different but similar in places. Torsion bars in the front on durango. The rear is different in the fact that the durangos have the leafs mounted on the bottom of the axle and the dakotas have them on the top. Similar to the flip kit provided by the tuff country 5.5 inch lift kit for the durango. No input on air ride though.
