Default lifting a durango

hi everyone, i need help. i have a 99 durango. the other day for hahas my husband put on his 33" thorndike tires on it and she handled them good unless i had to make a sharp turn. yes she is stock. now she has 31's on with no problems (except now she likes to suck the gas down but oh well) my question is this within the next year i plan on lifting her to accomadate the 33's. has any one out there lifted there's an what have u done. i would like to keep the ride the way it is and just add a body lift but my hubby thinks i should go with a suspension lift. any ideas or suggestions

thanx

Well the suspension lift is going to run around 1200 dollars even if it is jsut a 3 inch lift. A body lift of the same height is around 180 and either would clear the tires no problem. You are going to lose some of your ride quality and safety either way.

any lift kit out there either body or suspension will allow for 33's. The biggest you can go stock is 32x11.5, but trust me you get rub at some points of the turning radius, and under extreme suspension flex you will rub the side walls on the rear.
