Default Heater problems

Does Anybody Have a an idea what this is or where it's connected to? 99 durango firewall.
my heater is not working on my 99 durango, so I was checking all the lines and came across this it's on the firewall but it's connected to anything and it just blows cold air.. does anybody have an idea to were is suppose to go..????

A larger area photo would help, where exactly on the firewall are you zooming in?

if that is the passenger side valve cover in the bottom of the picture (im just guessing on that, but if im right)

then the 'hole' or tube coming through the dash is likely the a/c condesate drain.

as stated a larger photo would help to confirm or deny this.
